This shit used to make me hungry.

You know you’re from Minnesota when you consider 45 degrees in March ‘really nice out’

He’s just mad because he can’t acquire all the apple juice that I’m acquiring. (x)
i need to stop seeing this shit come up on my dashboard. stop mimicking “black men” when you invoke predatory sexuality. recognize it and stop doing it. recognize the part youre playing in perpetuating the deadly myth of the black male rapist.
and read this: "Rape, Racism and the Myth of the Black Rapist" from Angela Davis’s Women Race and Class
reblogging rn bc a week ago this shit was happening non-stop in a room full of radical qpoc, but only one of which is black. i was confused and horrified. seriously. why is it that we suddenly dip into aave when we pretend to be creepy??
Because buzzed fratboys are apparently trustworthy to them.
Is no one considering that perhaps in the experiences of the people who receive the attention in question, black men are doing the catcalling that happened to them?
I get lots of unwarranted attention from men, but aside from ONE white dude in a car, black men are the ONLY ones that have insulted me, commented vulgarly on my ass, demanded my number, followed me or pulled up and stopped next to me.
That’s where the dip comes from. The men.
Obviously other factors can dictate the demographics and surely some people are just bullshitting but sorry, this shit happens.
"Ay I like dat ass, come holla at me"
"Tsk, bitch! Yo ass ugly anyway!"
No non-black man has ever done this to me, but the amount of times a black man has is beyond my capacity to remember.
I am reblogging this for the white chick with the huge tits and the thot above me that actually thinks niggas would check for her thot ass.
Bitches are always making up stories trying to demonize black men.
these dumb hoes….
chakrabot is on point with this… dude above me can suck dick, he’s basically his own bad example.lmao I love that while everyone is so ready to demonize Black men they can easily skipradicalmenofcolor‘s comment. I would never discredit someone’s experiences but your isolated experiences and generalizations does not define reality. and ur mind is not a blank slate, we also have internalized racism that comes into play which allows ppl to find catcalls by Black men so evil but any unwanted sexual pursuit or attention by white men is normalized. it wasnt too long ago (still happening today) that Black males, CHILDREN included, were murdered for any supposed attention to white women. and dont tell me that white men were always perfect gentlemen to white women and never forced any unwanted sexual behavior on them. you may be more aware that catcalling from a Black man is wrong, bc society has taught us all that we should be grateful when white men give us these same unwanted attentions regardless how subtle. But by limiting this behavior to simply a Black male problem u are also allowing other men to get away with it. this is a problem that all of society needs to deconstruct, including women.
In the elevator scene is where Driver realizes that the circumstances have led to this—they’re in an elevator and he knows what he has to do now, and he will lose her forever, so he kisses her goodbye, because he knows he now has to go to the dark side in order to protect her. -Nicolas Winding Refn
